The six cottages have been lovingly restored from a collection of Period Granite Barns built originally as a Model Farm in 1900.
Each is named after a nearby Tor and has been converted to combine the unique character of the buildings with the demands
of a discerning 21st century family.
The restoration of Holwell Farm was the subject of a 10 part Television series called "Forgotten Farm" which is regularly repeated on Discovery Channel |

The moorland around Holwell turns a vivid blue in May and is a wonder to behold. Very unusual to see such a prolific collection out of woodland; the reason is the protection the bulbs receive during the hot summer months from the bracken - one of the few uses the latter has in the countryside !!
