Family FriendlyHolwell is a place where all the family can have a fun and relaxing time. There are so many natural pursuits to enjoy that don't cost any more money and are not "manufactured fun". As well as "letterboxing" on the nearby tors they can help feed the animals - there are always lots of piglets being born and foals from May to July being born. Lots of exploring to do on this ancient farmstead, trees to climb, brooks to splash around in and a host of flora and fauna to wonder at. We always keep a good stock of DVD's at the cottages for families to borrow. We have several really good family friendly pubs and cafe's within walking and short driving distance. You always know that your children will sleep well at Holwell because the air is so pure and they will be so exhausted from their hikes etc. We also keep a small collection of bikes and trucks for children to play with in the linhay.
