Hound Tor

Hound Tor has many features betraying it's original purpose.  A small "mucking out" door from the kitchen to what would have been the "midden" and rings on the walls where the horses were tethered.  The two wooden stays marking out where the stalls would have laid and the buttresses outside where once a bridge spanned from the Threshing Barn opposite to transport the hay for storage above the stables.

This cottage has a great feel to it and loads of character.  Downstairs it has a cosy sitting room round a large fire and spacious dining/kitchen overlooking the yard.  Upstairs there is a double/twin principal bedroom with ensuite shower room and two further "loft-style" bedrooms with family bathroom.

Outside Hound Tor has it's own private garden accessed through a gate from behind the ancient "green lane".  Occupying a sheltered and elevated position in the corner of a field, the garden has truly stunning panoramic views of the Becka Valley and Hay Tor.
